Software Architect

Hiring Software Architect for our client-multinational information technology consulting and outsourcing company Cognizant Technology Solutions Lithuania.

Hybrid/Kaunas.

Job Summary:

An architect is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using Java and React or .NEt and Angular.This includes working with technologies such as Java, messaging brokers, ORM, as well as front-end web development technologies such as React, Typescript, HTML, and CSS. An architect will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Strong technical skills and experience with both front-end and back-end development is essential for this role. Good knowledge DDD design patterns, CQRS, Clean architecture are mandatory.

Main Responsibilities:

• Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
• Potential sales experience or direct client exposure
• Collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Developing and maintaining front-end web components using React, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Designing and developing software using the Java, Hibernate.
• Building and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
• Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
• Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
• Communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.

Technical skills:

· Deep experience and track record with one of the backend technologies, it may be Java, .NET or Nodejs.· Experience with one of the front-end frameworks (like React, Angular or Vue). Understanding and practical experience with Devops technology stack.· Understanding and practical use of cloud provider services (AWS, Azure, GCP or similar).
