Be a part of the new data strategy in Danica by becoming our new solution architect. Danica, a member of the Danske Bank group, specializes in providing pension and health insurance services. As part of the Forward 28 initiative, we are making significant investments in our data infrastructure. Last year, we established a Data Products squad, deployed the first data pipelines and supporting infrastructure on AWS, and we are now ready to onboard Databricks. Danica currently has a team of architects.

Responsibilities

Consultant will shape the data architecture for one of Denmark’s largest pension and health insurance companies. Consultant’s duties and responsibilities include:

• Designing solutions to meet business needs and connecting technical and business domains.

• Aligning data architecture with Danica’s IT strategy and target architecture.

• Enhancing platform capabilities for data engineers, data scientists, and actuaries.

• Developing and executing an actionable strategy for onboarding to Databricks, aligned with Danske Bank Group’s data strategy.

• Collaborating with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and product owners.

• Guiding squads on data systems design to ensure strategic flexibility.

• Driving governance, knowledge sharing, and workshops for alignment and execution.

Requirements

As a consultant, you will help to discern the needs of our customers, development teams, and our business. Clear and convincing communication skills, and the ability to facilitate and inspire engagement among your colleagues, are vital for this process. We are looking for proven architectural knowledge, where you have experience driving technology change.

• Experience with data modelling

• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms

• Capability to define and implement a comprehensive data strategy

• Ability to communicate architecture both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred start date: 2026 February 1 for 6/12 months
