Hourly Rate: From €45/hour+ (depending on experience and qualifications)

Start Date: ASAP – ideally from 1 August 2026

Contract Duration: Current contract runs until the end of December 2026, with a 100% planned extension, making this a long-term engagement.

About the Opportunity

On behalf of our client, Danske Bank, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic technology and security transformation initiatives.

You will join a large international IT organization delivering world-class digital financial solutions. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact transformation programmes, collaborating with cross-functional teams across technology, security, architecture, and business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technology, security, and risk transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
• Drive multidisciplinary teams across technology, security, architecture, and business units to deliver agreed business outcomes.
• Own project governance, delivery planning, project controls, and executive stakeholder reporting.
• Track project outcomes, measure business value, and proactively adjust delivery plans when required.
• Coordinate stakeholders and manage dependencies across multiple business and technology teams.
• Support organizational change by establishing clear ownership and sustainable delivery models.
• Ensure effective communication with senior leadership and facilitate informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale technology or security transformation projects.
• Experience with cybersecurity programmes or AI-driven initiatives is considered a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of operating models and the ability to translate technology and security initiatives into measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior executives in complex organizations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to prepare executive-level decision materials.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remove delivery obstacles.
• Change Management certification or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.

Experience

• Senior-level professional with 7+ years of relevant experience in project or transformation management.
• Experience leading complex technology, security, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of emerging technologies and AI.
• Experience navigating digital transformation in large international organizations.
